MJOLNIR SPACEWORKS Co., Ltd. (CEO: Viscor Tor, hereinafter referred to as “MSW”), a company aiming for the mass production of safe and cost-effective hybrid rocket engines, was awarded the title of “Hokkaido University Certified Startup” on December 16, 2024, by Hokkaido University.
Moving forward, MSW will continue to scale up and implement the CAMUI-type hybrid rocket engine, which has been extensively researched over many years by Professor Nagata of Hokkaido University. By addressing the current bottleneck of rocket shortages amid increasing satellite launch demand, MSW aims to contribute to the further development of the space industry in collaboration with Hokkaido University, as a member of its startup ecosystem.
